Gray318: Ghosts and Lightening

"On the death of his mother, 26-year-old Denny Cullen comes home to a small, “disgraceful fuckin kip” in Dublin's sprawl, where dwells his quite alive and quite drunk lesbian sister, Paula. She claims there's a gender-bending ghost hiding under the bed, so their friend and methadone-addicted spiritual adviser, Pajo, conducts a kitchen-table séance that prompts Denny to find meaning and purpose in his own life." (PW) Printed on gritty matte, from Knopf Doubleday.

He's got tons of stuff in the stores right now. The man is a maniac.

I know. And it's all very unique and different. Some photo based, illustrated, vinatge stuff—all over the place. He does not seem limited by any style or approach. And he does not seem to take the easy way out on anything. It's all very involved design work. Would pay to be in his body for a day to see how he manages it all in that dome.;)

I oversaw this project, it was a pickup from the UK edition.....I had Jonathan tweak a few small elements and we picked flat PMS inks to make the color really pop.

Read it, if you can... Great cover, great book!
